Effective Date: 01/01/2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by GutterGorilla (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the customer (“you”, “your”). By accepting a quote, booking a service, or allowing work to commence, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms.
GutterGorilla provides services including, but not limited to:
Gutter cleaning
Gutter guard supply and installation
Minor gutter and roof repairs
Downpipe cleaning
Visual roof observations related only to gutter servicing
The exact scope of work will be confirmed verbally, in writing, or electronically prior to commencement.
GutterGorilla will perform services with reasonable care and skill consistent with generally accepted industry practices. We will clean gutters and downpipes to a reasonable degree. Loose debris removed during servicing will be collected and disposed of where reasonably practical; however, we do not provide gardening, landscaping, or external property cleaning services unless specifically agreed.
Please note that even if a gutter is not blocked or contains limited debris, the full quoted service fee still applies, as pricing reflects the labour, travel, safety requirements, equipment, expertise, and time required to complete the service.
All quotes are estimates based on visible conditions and information available at the time of quoting.
Prices may change if additional work is required due to unforeseen issues including hidden damage, excessive debris, restricted access, unsafe conditions, or additional labour requirements.
Any variation to the quoted price will be discussed and approved before additional work is carried out.
You must provide clear, safe, and reasonable access to the property.
By engaging GutterGorilla, you acknowledge and warrant that all roof areas, access points, ladders, walkways, anchoring points, decking, balconies, fascia, gutters, roofing materials, and related structures required for access appear safe, structurally sound, and suitable for normal roof access and servicing.
GutterGorilla is not responsible for failure, cracking, movement, collapse, or breakage of roofing or access components caused by pre-existing weakness, deterioration, corrosion, improper installation, or ordinary access required to complete the services.
GutterGorilla reserves the right to refuse, postpone, or stop work if conditions are considered unsafe, including weather conditions, roof deterioration, electrical hazards, asbestos risks, excessive height risks, unsafe access, aggressive behaviour, pets, or environmental hazards.
By booking services, you authorise GutterGorilla to access the property areas reasonably required to complete the agreed works.
Some roofing materials and property components, including older roof tiles, brittle roofing, rusted metal roofing, aged gutters, fascia, pointing, valley trays, skylights, polycarbonate sheeting, and deteriorated structures may be fragile or weakened due to age, weather, corrosion, movement, or prior installation issues.
While reasonable care is taken during all services, GutterGorilla is not responsible for damage resulting from:
Pre-existing weakness or deterioration
Fragile or aged roofing materials
Corrosion, rust, or structural fatigue
Unavoidable movement during safe roof access
Hidden defects or improper installation
Components failing during normal servicing due to their existing condition
Any visible pre-existing issues may be documented and communicated where practical.
Older roofs, gutters, and associated components may be fragile due to age, weather exposure, corrosion, movement, prior repairs, or deterioration. By proceeding with the services, the customer acknowledges that normal roof access and servicing may reveal, expose, or contribute to pre-existing issues not previously visible.
Gutter cleaning, gutter guard installation, and related services significantly reduce the risk of blockages and overflow but do not guarantee complete prevention of future issues.
Performance may be affected by factors outside GutterGorilla’s control, including:
Severe weather or storms
Heavy leaf fall or surrounding vegetation
Roof pitch and roof design
Inadequate drainage capacity
Underground stormwater issues
Property movement or structural defects
Gutter cleaning, gutter guard installation, and minor repairs do not constitute waterproofing services and do not guarantee that roofs, gutters, flashings, valleys, drainage systems, or related structures will remain leak-free or watertight.
GutterGorilla is not responsible for blockages, failures, defects, or overflow relating to underground stormwater systems, internal drainage systems, soak wells, pits, plumbing infrastructure, or other non-visible drainage components not accessible during standard servicing.
Minor repairs are limited to the agreed scope of works.
Minor repairs may include sealing small leaks, reattaching loose components, replacing small sections, or similar maintenance-related works.
Structural roofing works, roof replacement, or major plumbing works are excluded unless separately quoted in writing.
GutterGorilla does not provide full roofing warranties unless explicitly stated in writing.
All repairs are completed to a reasonable industry standard.
Service dates and times are estimates only and may change due to weather conditions, emergencies, equipment issues, traffic delays, staff availability, or operational requirements.
GutterGorilla is not liable for delays or inability to perform services due to events beyond our reasonable control.
Reasonable efforts will be made to notify customers of scheduling changes.
Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods will be advised prior to service.
Late payments may result in reminder notices, recovery action, debt collection costs, or suspension of future services.
Ownership of supplied materials remains with GutterGorilla until full payment is received.
Deposits may be required for larger projects, material orders, custom gutter guard installations, or scheduled installation works.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made with reasonable notice.
Any workmanship warranty applies only to the specific service provided and only for the period stated in writing.
Warranties do not cover issues caused by:
Storms or extreme weather
Falling debris or vegetation
Pest activity
Third-party interference
Structural movement
Pre-existing defects
Lack of ongoing maintenance
Customers must notify GutterGorilla of any concerns relating to the services within 7 days of completion.
To the extent permitted by law, GutterGorilla’s liability for any claim relating to the services provided is limited to re-supplying the services or the reasonable cost of having the services supplied again.
GutterGorilla is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses including water damage, loss of use, business interruption, or property damage arising from pre-existing conditions, drainage limitations, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
GutterGorilla is not responsible for internal water ingress, ceiling damage, mould, electrical faults, structural deterioration, or consequential property damage arising from pre-existing defects, severe weather events, blocked drainage systems, property design limitations, or issues outside GutterGorilla’s reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights or guarantees that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement, refund, or compensation for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
